| Hey guys! It's been raining like crazy in Manila this week, due to 2 storms entering the country. I absolutely love this weather, because I can wear sweaters and cardigans without melting into a puddle of sweat. The weather makes me feel extremely sleepy though, so it's not exactly ideal for productivity. I love the rain (and suspension of classes), but I really hope that everyone stays warm and dry! In this post are a few shots of some of my favourite basic items in my closet that I can mix and match with anything. |

| First up is this black cropped top that is extremely versatile, like it can literally go with anything. Cropped tops in basic colours can be paired with any kind of bottoms, and can be worn on its own or with a cover-up. It can even be layered by putting another top under or over it. The length of the cropped top I'm wearing here is not something I'd wear to school or a formal event, but it's something I'd wear when I'm just chillin' with friends. To make it more school-appropriate, I would layer something under or over it and it would still look stylish in my opinion. I also like cropped tops with tiny details that make quite a difference, like the zipper in the middle. |

| Next we have this oversized baseball shirt/cover-up. I've had it for quite a while now, and I use it quite a lot! It's easy to pair with any kind of inner blouse or any pair of bottoms. I also love how it lends a casual/street feel to an outfit. The pattern isn't exactly overwhelming that it clashes with other prints or colours, so it's not hard to find an outfit to match it. Plus points for it being extremely comfy! |

| I'm in love with anything high-waisted, so when I found the perfect pair of boyfriend jeans that were ripped AND high-waisted, I was extremely elated. I can wear this with ANYTHING, especially if I want to add a certain "street style" vibe. I love how you can fold it up and it can completely transform your whole look. The rips are also strategically placed in a way that just looks perfect to me. And I also love how it's in a wash that is quite difficult to find, but not hard to pair with! |

| Yeah, my phone is basically glued to my hand so I guess it counts as an essential! Haha. |

| So I've been basically living in these sneakers ever since my summer sem started. I practically wear these EVERYDAY. It just goes with all of my outfits, and it totally ups my style game. Aside from the fact that white is a very basic colour, I love how it brightens up a boring outfit. And they're extremely comfy to walk around in! |

| Yay for this pink wall! I hope you guys enjoyed this post as much as I enjoyed making it! My summer sem ends next week, so I'm looking forward to trying out new things and going on random adventures before my regular sem starts.
